Step-by-Step Tutorial: Creating a Payments Page
Step 1: Create a New Page
- Access the Pages Section:
- Navigate to the “Pages” section on your dashboard.
- Click “Create New Page.”
- Use the Links Page Template:
- Select the “Links Page” pattern. If it doesn’t appear immediately:
- Click the blue “+” icon on the left-hand side.
- Select “Patterns” and search for “Links” in the search bar.
- Click the template to add it to your page.

Step 2: Customize the Page Layout
- Open List View:
- Enable the “List View” (or “Overview”) for easier navigation and editing.
- Auto-Populated Fields:
- Your name, email, phone number, and social icons should automatically appear if they’re set up in your account settings.
Step 3: Name and Design the Page
- Set the Page Name:
- Enter a clear name, such as “Payment Page.”
- Determine Payment Methods:
- List payment methods (e.g., “Pay with Credit Card,” “Pay with PayPal,” etc.).
- For each method:
- Add a button.
- Link it to your payment platform (e.g., Stripe or PayPal).
- (Optional) To ensure visitors don’t lose access to your page, click the pencil icon.
- Then select “Advanced” and enable “Open in a new tab.”
Step 4: Additional Customizations
- Add More Payment Methods:
- Include options like Stripe, PayPal, Venmo or other relevant services.
- Link to Your Website:
- Add a button linking to your homepage or other relevant pages (e.g., “Visit My Website”).
- For internal links, simply type the page name in the link bar.
- Remove Unused Buttons:
- Click unwanted buttons.
- Use the delete option (three dots) or the delete key on your keyboard to remove them.

- Save Your Work:
- Save the page after finalizing the design and publish once you have set up all links.
