Introduction
This tutorial will guide you through the process of connecting your Instagram feed to your Oh My Hi website, allowing you to display your latest posts directly on your site.
NOTE: A professional Instagram account is required to connect your site to Instagram. A professional account is free and you’ll be prompted and guided through switching account types during the connection process if you currently have a personal account.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log into Instagram and Oh My Hi: Ensure you’re logged into the Instagram account you want to connect and your Oh My Hi admin dashboard.
- Connect Your Accounts:
- Navigate to IG feed settings: In your Oh My Hi website, go to Settings then the “IG Feed” settings.
- Click “Connect to Instagram”: This will prompt you to authorize Oh My Hi to access your Instagram account.
- Grant permissions: Allow Oh My Hi to access your Instagram feed.
- Add the Feed to Your Website:
- Edit your page: Go to the page where you want to display your Instagram feed.
- Insert the feed block: Use the block inserter to add the “Instagram Feed” pattern from the pattern library.
- Configure settings: Set the Instagram handle and adjust any other desired settings.
- Save and preview: Save your changes and preview the page to see your Instagram feed.
