Step-by-Step Tutorial: Switching Between Default and Landing Page Templates
Step 1: Understand the Page Types
- Default Page:
- Includes a header with navigation, content blocks, and a footer.
- Ideal for general website pages with multiple navigation options.
- Landing Page:
- Contains only content blocks without a header or footer.
- Designed for focused actions, such as RSVP pages, freebie opt-ins, or email captures.
- Keeps user attention by removing distractions like navigation bars.
Step 2: Switching to a Default Page
- Identify the Template:
- Go to your desired page in “Edit View.”
- On the right-hand side under “Pages,” locate the “Template” setting.
- If the template is set to “No Header or Footer,” it’s a landing page.
- Change to Default Template:
- Click the dropdown next to “Template.”
- Select “Default Template.”
- Preview the Page:
- Save and launch the page to ensure the header and footer are restored.
Step 3: Switching to a Landing Page
- Identify the Page:
- Open the page you want to convert to a landing page in “Edit View.”
- Set to Landing Page Template:
- Under “Pages” on the right-hand side, find “Template.”
- Click the dropdown and select “No Header or Footer.”
- Preview the Page:
- Save and launch the page to confirm the header and footer are removed.
Step 4: Using Quick Edit to Toggle Templates
- Locate the Page in Pages View:
- Navigate to your list of pages.
- Open Quick Edit:
- Hover over the page title and click “Quick Edit.”
- Change the Template:
- In the “Template” dropdown, toggle between “Default Template” and “No Header or Footer.”
- Save your changes.

- Default Template:
